More than 40 colleges are invited to participate in Camp Community College’s VACRAO “College Night” from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Camp’s Workforce Development Center in Franklin. VACRAO stands for Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Counselors.

A Camp news release noted that the event is for high school students, and their parents, who are interested in pursuing higher education. Camp students are also invited to attend to get a head start on transferring to a four-year college or university.

Colleges that are expected to attend include Chowan University, George Mason University, James Madison University, Liberty University, Longwood University, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech, William & Mary and many more. Admissions representatives from Camp Community College will also be on-site.
