The Windsor Town Council made plans during its Nov. 1 meeting to reconvene Wednesday, Dec. 7, to discuss strategic planning and the management of American Rescue Plan Act money that the town has received.
Addressing the council on Nov. 1, Windsor Town Manager William Saunders said, “We discussed, previously, meeting on the Strategic Plan and ARPA funds, and at the last meeting, we decided to pick a date, potentially in the first week of December, at tonight’s meeting to hold that.”
Council members discussed a couple different dates, and Mayor Glyn T. Willis highlighted how the council’s regular December meeting — Tuesday, Dec. 13, — should influence the timing of the work session.
“We’ve got council meeting on Tuesday, and it would probably be good to have the background on this before the council meeting,” he said. “Let’s target the seventh.”
Saunders announced a start time of 6 p.m. on Dec. 7 at Windsor Town Hall, which is located at 8 E. Windsor Blvd.
The public is welcome to attend.
