The Windsor-based Christian Women Alliance, in partnership with the Micro-Nonprofit Network, hosted its annual edition of Shark Tank where it awarded businesses and nonprofits a total of $5,000.
“We had 13 participants, and six of them walked away with checks to further enhance their programs and business ideas,” CWA officials stated in a news release.
Under the leadership of Laequinla Hunter, the mission of Christian Women Alliance is to undergird, build and support in the areas of ministry business partnership and community service.
“This was our way of giving back in the area of business in order to ensure that those who have great ideas but just need assistance with funding can pursue their goals and dreams,” CWA officials said.
CWA offered congratulations to the six winners: Pretty In Pink, Say It With A Bowtie, Behind My Reflection LLC, I Pressed On Foundation, The Nasia Foundation and Distribution Hub Inc.
