Windsor sports roundup: Girls tennis wins 4th straight

The Windsor High School varsity girls tennis and varsity baseball teams earned shutout victories Wednesday, April 6, to extend their respective winning streaks this spring.
The Lady Dukes defeated host Greensville County High School 9-0, now having won four matches in a row, registering three shutouts in a row. Windsor has an overall record of 6-1.
In varsity baseball, the Dukes (4-2) won their third game in a row, blowing out visiting Greensville County 20-0.
Windsor’s varsity boys soccer team fell 3-2 to visiting Franklin High School on Wednesday. The Dukes (1-6) were fresh off their first win of the season April 4, when they routed host Greensville County 7-0.
Also on Wednesday, the Windsor junior varsity softball team pulled away from host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy to win 10-2, and the Windsor JV girls soccer team fell 8-0 to visiting Smithfield High School.
