The Isle of Wight Academy fall blood drive will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in IWA’s Vaughan Gym, which is located at 17111 Courthouse Highway in Isle of Wight.

An IWA press release continued by stating that the drive is returning to the IWA campus for the first time in almost two years because of revised COVID-19 measures. Masks are required at all times at the donation site.

Officials instructed that “on the day of blood donation, complete RapidPass and arrive at your appointment time. Don’t forget to eat, drink plenty of water, sleep well and bring identification and signed permission slips, if needed.”

Male and female donors must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds, depending on their height. IWA students must obtain and have signed a permission slip to donate.
