Antoinette “Tony” Florence Alphin Willis, of Windsor, passed away on Oct. 28, 2021. She was a loved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. All will miss her smile and sweetness.

Born Dec. 9, 1934, Tony was the youngest child of L.H. (Sam) and Edith (Hill) Alphin. She was the last of her generation, with Leonard Jr. “Leon,” John, Edith (Anderson), Marvin, Alene (Cox), Robert “Bob,” William “Billy” and Thomas passing before her.

Tony lived a full life in the Windsor community. If the sun was out, she was outside in the flower or vegetable garden. Rainy days found her inside sewing, crafting or cooking. During her years, it would be interesting to know how many bushels of butterbeans and black-eyed peas she picked and shelled, how many dresses she made and how many flowers she arranged. She was a faithful member of the Windsor Congregational Christian Church. Her smile and kindness brought joy to all who knew her.

She was the faithful wife of the late Troy Burnette Willis Jr. for 53 years. Surviving her are four children, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren;

Daughter Teresa, her husband Daniel Weaver; their daughter Kristin, husband Mark Grass, son Aaron; their son Lucas Weaver, wife Autumn, daughter Alya and son Lennox.

Son Glyn, his wife Kathy; their son Christopher; their daughter Amber, husband Trent Bezzant, daughter Josephine, son Jonah; their daughter Katelyn, husband Jared Robertson, son Andrew, daughter Tallulah; their daughter Chelsea, husband Curtis Park.

Daughter Tammy, her husband David Edwards; their son Samuel, wife Marin; their son Jacob, wife Brandi.

Son Troy, his wife Andi; their daughter Lauren, their son Alex.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at the Windsor Cemetery, 36 E. Griffin St., Windsor. In lieu of flowers, consider performing a random act of kindness for someone and think of Tony. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Suffolk Chapel, is serving the family.
