Windsor High School celebrated homecoming all week long last week, and two of the key events that drew enthusiastic participation were the 2021 WHS Homecoming Parade and the homecoming varsity football game Friday evening, Oct. 15.
The parade started at Georgie Tyler Middle School and ended at the bus entrance of the high school.
“Students have worked hard on their floats and are ready to show off their school spirit,” officials highlighted on the WHS Facebook page the night before.
Family and friends lined the edge of the streets at different points in the route Friday to take in the parade and support its participants.
Though the Dukes fell in the homecoming football game that followed, they gave a spirited effort and were the first to get on the scoreboard, thrilling a large crowd of fans on hand at the Castle.
