Benn’s Church UMC

Tim Dail Youth Music Concert: This second annual event will be on Sunday, April 28, at 7 p.m. in the church,14571 Benn’s Church Blvd, Smithfield. Admission is free, but donations to the Music Fund will be accepted. The purpose is to recognize and promote music excellence among our youth with emphasis on participation in Benn’s music ministries.

 

Chapel Grove UCC

Exercise group: The Walking Warriors Exercise Group will meet each Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. New members welcome.

Memorial Day Cookout/Vendor Sale: This will be on Monday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinners and sandwiches will be provided for a reasonable fee. Vendor tables will be available for $25, which includes one table and two chairs to be set up inside or outside. Contact Carla Duck at 641-5934, or Jackie Brown at 375-7863 for details.

 

Community Harvest Outreach

Senior Craft Workshop: This will be on Tuesday, April 30 and May 14 at 11a.m. in 5C Roberts Ave., Windsor. Lunch will be served.

Hunger Walk: The church will have its annual Hunger Walk on Saturday, May 25, from noon to 1 p.m. For more information, call 556-5403.

 

God’s Anointed Touch Ministries

Family and Friends Day: The church will have Family and Friends Day on Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. Dinner will be served. For more information, call 242-4151.

Bible study: This will be on Wednesday, May 8 and 29 at 7 p.m. This year we are studying “God’s Plan for Our Finances” by Dwight Nicholas. Dinner will be served at 5C Roberts Ave., Windsor.

 

Ivor Baptist Church

Car show: The church will have its annual Iron Chariots Car Show on Saturday, May 4. On-site registration will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Awards will be at 2 p.m. There is a free meal with early registration. The church is located at 8506 Bell Ave., Ivor.
