MOUNT SIDNEY — Randy Wayne Howell, 61, husband of Linda Howell of 169 Valley View Ave. Mount Sidney, Virginia, died on Thursday, October 19, 2017.

He was born on Feb. 7, 1956, in Suffolk, Virginia, the son of Dorothy Paramore Howell and Reuben A. Howell Sr., and brother of Reuben A. Howell Jr. of Windsor.

Mr. Howell was a food inspector for the U.S. government with 36 years of service.

He enjoyed wildlife, detailing automobiles and riding in the country with Linda and Cubby.

In addition to his wife of nearly 29 years, family members include his son, Ryan Howell of Texas; his pets, Cubby-Blue and Kit Kat.

The celebration of his life was conducted this past Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Clay Sterrett.

The family received friends immediately following the service in the funeral home.
