Isle of Wight Academy Headmaster Mark Munford told The Tidewater News early Tuesday afternoon that the school will be closed beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 12, and remain so until further notice.

The day care service will be open on Wednesday only from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
