Windsor, Zuni students make JMU president’s list

James Madison University recently announced its president’s list for the fall 2023 semester, and the list included four students from Windsor and one from Zuni who graduated from Windsor High School.
This group of locally based academic standouts featured Mason Baker, of Windsor, majoring in finance; MaKayla Burks, of Windsor, majoring in nursing; Alexandria Callis, of Windsor, majoring in biology; Cameron Pagan, of Zuni, majoring in nursing; and Kiley Plum, of Windsor, majoring in biology.
Founded in 1908, JMU is a public university located in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Officials stated in the release that JMU features world-class faculty who drive education innovation and support advanced research; students have access to state-of-the art amenities and facilities and NCAA Division I athletics.
“JMU also has the highest post-graduation job levels of all Virginia colleges,” officials stated.
