The Woman’s Club of Windsor was pleased with how the Christmas Craft Fair went on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Windsor Town Center, with a wide variety of vendors participating.

A club news release noted that a large percentage of the club’s members participated in some way, either working at the fair, spending hours preparing chicken salad and pimento cheese for lunch and for sale by containers, providing items for the bake sale or securing items for the raffle from area businesses.

Club officials said, “We appreciate the continued support of our businesses, the help of Girl Scout Troop 726, who helped tremendously with putting away the tables and chairs used, as well as assisting the vendors, transporting their items for set up, and the number of the clubs in Southside District, for their continued support by attending the event.”

The drawing for a beautiful quilt made by several members of the club was raffled at 2 p.m., and the winner was Sandra Edwards.

The Woman’s Club of Windsor is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), the GFWC Virginia and Southside District.
