Christmas in Windsor this year was shaped in part by the Windsor library’s Breakfast with Santa event that drew a large number of children to the Windsor Town Center for the opportunity to dine with Jolly Old St. Nicholas.
“Our Breakfast with Santa event, sponsored by the Friends of the Windsor Library, was a great success,” said Bethany Hardy, senior library assistant at the Windsor branch of the Blackwater Regional Library. “Approximately 350 people attended to visit with Santa Claus and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast with their families.”
She noted that in addition to the breakfast, which also included sausages, children received a free book to take home.
Hardy extended thanks to the Friends of the Windsor Library, the Woman’s Club of Windsor Inc., Boy Scout Troop 41, Nothin’ “Butt” Fun Catering and many others for making the event a reality.
