Camp Community College to hold College Night Oct. 4

More than 40 colleges are invited to participate in Camp Community College’s “College Night” from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Camp’s Workforce Development Center in Franklin.
A CCC news release noted that the event is for high school students — and their parents — who are interested in pursuing higher education. Camp students are also invited to attend to get a head start on transferring to a four-year college or university.
Colleges that are expected to attend include Chowan University, George Mason University, Hampton University, James Madison University, Liberty University, Longwood University, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech and William & Mary. Admissions representatives from Camp Community College will also be on-site.

Also at this event, students can fill out the 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid from 5:30-7 p.m. Students and their parents are asked to bring 2021 year federal tax information.
