Windsor High School’s varsity softball, baseball and girls soccer teams recently achieved victory in the early going of the 2022 spring season.
In softball, the Lady Dukes routed Sussex Central High School 20-0 to improve to 4-1 on the year. The Windsor junior varsity softball team defeated Isle of Wight Academy 9-2 in its season opener.
The Windsor varsity baseball team beat Sussex Central 11-1 to move to 2-2. The Windsor JV baseball team is now 4-1 after falling to IWA 7-4.
In girls soccer, the Lady Dukes achieved their first win of the season by defeating Park View High School 4-3. Breanna McDade recorded a hat trick for Windsor (1-3). The JV team lost 8-0 to Nansemond River High School to fall to 0-3 on the season.
The Windsor varsity and JV boys soccer teams are still seeking their inaugural wins. The varsity team (0-5) lost 4-2 to Park View, and the JV team (0-2) lost 8-0 to Nansemond River.
