Isle of Wight County Schools has cancelled all in-person classes Wednesday due to flooding at several schools.

U.S. Route 258 near Isle of Wight County’s courthouse complex is currently closed in both directions due to standing water. According to a text message sent to county residents via Isle of Wight’s IW Alert system, portions of Great Springs Road and Bob White Road are also washed out.

Additional road closures in Isle of Wight include:

• Route 620 at Turner Drive

• Chiltron Drive near Whippingham Parkway
