WINDSOR — Verna Marie Nile Wood, 78, passed away on June 30, 2019.

She was born in Forsythe, Montana, the daughter of the late Vern Nile and Ruth Ledbetter Nile, and also predeceased by her sister, Edith Hart.

Verna is survived by her daughter, Shirley Gilchrist; son, Scott Wood; two sisters, Linda Williams and Lori Hamilton; two brothers, Paul Nile and Mike Nile; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, July 9, from 7 to 8 p.m., in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, Suffolk.
