The Windsor High School Boy’s Track Team placed eighth overall at the Virginia High School 1A State Track Championship, which was at East Rockingham High School in Elkton. The meet took place May 31 to June 1.

Christian Mizel placed fifth in the 100 meters and seventh in the 200 meters sprint.

Stefon Saunders, Terrell Pittman, Malik Lee and Christian Mizell were state runners-up, placing second in the 4 by 100 relay.

Terrell Pittman placed first and won the State Championship Title in the 110 hurdles.

The only female participant, Zaniyah Elam, placed fifth in the girl triple jump.

The team is coached by Tyler Mosley and Roland Downing.
