The IWA Golf Team defeated Atlantic Shores 165-248 in a match played on April 23 at Cypress Creek.

The Chargers also defeated StoneBridge and Broadwater in a tri-match on Thursday at Bay Creek Country Club on the Eastern Shore.

IWA had 179 strokes to Broadwater’s 226 and the Cavaliers’ 245.

IWA senior golfer Sydney Grimes recently signed paperwork to play collegiate golf at Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The Metro Conference Varsity golf tournament will be played on Monday, May 7, beginning at 10 a.m. This 18-hole event will be played at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.

IWA leads the conference with a 3-0 record; they are undefeated in 10 tournaments overall.
