WINDSOR — Michael Owen Matthews, 64, passed away on Aug. 13, 2018.

He was born in Suffolk, a son of the late Russell Owen Matthews and Shirley Frances Whitley Matthews; he was also predeceased by a daughter, Sara Whitley Matthews.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Sammie Linde and Cicily Rose Matthews; three grandchildren, plus one on the way; a sister, Carol Sue Matthews; brother, Barry Matthews; and other relatives.

The celebration of life service will be on Sunday, Aug. 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the home of Sammie and Jonas Linde.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Home, 6171 Kempsville Circle, Norfolk, VA 23502.
