WINDSOR — Linda Kay Luter Murphy, 67, passed away on July 31, 2018, in Sentara Obici Hospital.

Linda was born on Sept. 3, 1950, in Suffolk and grew up in Ivor, and was a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Cora Munford Luter.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sidney David Murphy Jr.; one son, Joe Murphy; one daughter, Lynn Murphy; four grandchildren; and one sister.

The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, in Ivor Cemetery with Pastor John Bauswell and Jon Eid officiating.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad or Isle of Wight Christian Church.
