The Windsor Lady Dukes softball team had the best season in program history. The Lady Dukes won 18 games this season, played for a regional championship and participated in the state tournament for the first time.

During the season, she had a perfect fielding percentage in the outfield and only allowed one stolen base. Carter was lights out behind the plate during the playoffs, only allowing one stolen base and throwing out four base runners.
